Swimming Beginners Advanced
Complete the Red Cross Swim level IV-Stroke Development or the following:
- Demonstrate deep-water bobbing.
- Demonstrate floating positions.
- Demonstrate rotary breathing in chest-deep water.
- Dive from the side of the pool from stride and standing positions.
- Perform elementary backstroke—10 yards.
- Demonstrate sculling on back for five yards or 15 seconds.
- Swim front crawl for 25 yards with rotary breathing.
- Swim back crawl for 25 yards.
- Demonstrate breaststroke kick with or without kickboard for 10 yards.
- Demonstrate scissors kick with or without kickboard for 10 yards.
- Demonstrate change of direction at wall.
- Tread water with any kick for two minutes.
- Demonstrate rescue breathing.
- Watch CPR demonstration.
